Any source for oem gvr4 fender liners? Mine aren't terrible but could use a refresh. Did a quick online search but came up dry. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I was planning on using "rebuilding" mine by using a black all weather carpet material. If you look at newer luxury models you'll it's common place now. It looks good and reduces noise considerably. Basically just lay it over the old nasty looking liners and your all set.

I was curious if anyone has the bolt info for holding the liner in too. I took out my one fender liners and misplaced the bolts.

I've seen what he's talking about. Not real sure what the benefit is for using that material. But you could definitely lay it over a trashed liner for a face lift. I just wish I has liner left.

Thats the good part. You dont need perfect liners. You can anything to fill in missing pieces, such as an old license plate to make the shape. Use pop rivet to hold it all together then glue the "carpet" on. Once you cover the liner you won't know what's underneath it. Bam, just like that you got new looking liners. Only drawback is that the material can fray when pressure washed too close.

The bolts that thread into the body are 6x 1.0, 14 mm long flange bolts. The screws that screw into the plastic clips that go along the fender lip are 6 x 20 screws with washers. I can probably find you some in my collection if you want originals.

These are still available new, but extremely pricey I believe.

They are very expensive. When I asked JNZ, they laughed before telling me the price

Thanks for the part numbers!
Prices weren't as bad as I was expecting. About $170 for both isn't too bad IMO.

Cool. Just let me know what you have an snap a pic while you're at it.
Mine are in okay shape but The passenger side has hit the tire at one point and has a hole in it.

I know they are just molded plastic, but I think the time it would take me to make these look better is more valuable than the cost of new ones, you know? I like to tinker with projects as much as the next guy but sometimes it's really just not worth the time spent to me. Especially on something like this /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Thread jack:

Any idea/advice on how to repair a fender liner. Mine broke right at a crease, see pic. Crappy camera phone. I am not sure if melting it back together will work, might make shorter so it might not line up, or using liquid nail so that it might still be bendable. I just don't want to ruin it.
