differences between frt & bck brake caliper soft line fittings

i took a closer look before ordering hose fittings for soft brake lines and noticed..

The below are frt & rr female fittings that bolt directly to the front and rear calipers

front on left, rear on right

they are both 10 x 1.0 inverted flare, except there is almost no flare on the rear caliper fittings..

can someone shed some light on this
