Did all GVR-4's come with the 2.0 Turbo 4ws stickers on the side?

Mine doesn't have them for some reason. Just curious.

Thanks

yeah I think the Japanese just love having as many spec acronyms on the car as possible. The sticker on my rear doors is '2.0i DOHC 16V Intercooler Turbo 4WS'. But it seems the US models have a 'DOHC 16 Valve' under the Galant badge on the trunk lid instead.

The decals are definitely a JDM thing. Like mentioned above, Garfield carries them usually.

I kinda like the stickers. Don't know what I am doing in GVR4. I am a bling person. I just like the way it drives and the fact that it is 4 doors.

And I like them, they look good, they set you off, and if you have RATARDs in your town you can have them point and laugh at the stickers, as aparently our cars were never made, so we stole 3kvr4 badges and put them there.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/uhh.gif

I went to the track a while ago, and some kids (few even had DSMs) thought that I just took the badges from a 3000GT and put the 6G72TT in the Galant.

The fancy rear door paragraph is the only decal I have. Just like said above Garfield keeps them in stock at www.tunersnation.com for $20.

The ironic thing is the Galant VR-4 was first introduced in 1987 before the GTO/3000GT in 1990, if anything the 3000GT stole the VR-4 badges from us!

Yep, which is where the 'Evo 0' nickname comes from.

Just to be picky, the decal on Garfield's store is not the same as found on the JDM Galants - the font is different slightly and they don't say AWD, there's no mention of AWD on the original stickers and in place they have 4WS.

I'd rather have some Monte Carlo stickers tbh, although I was considering getting some made up to represent a rally that the vr4 actually won... RAC? perhaps not, Swedish? hmm... no, 1000 lakes? possibly, Ivory Coast? ah, an Event the vr4 won not once, not twice, but three times... Perfect! Watch this space!
