center diff bearings

A friend of mine had his center diff welded with bearings attached and due to the heat from welding now needs them replaced. The trans is from a 91 gvr4 which I don't have the vin to order new bearings but I could use my 92 vin. He is all worried there will be a difference between the 91-92 bearings do you guys have any experience with this?

The different top and bottom bearings are the same for all years of center diffs.
