Center console is it just me or is it a pain to remove?

I just got it out and to me it seems that there is no way to take it out unless you take the power seatbelt motors on their bracket along with it.

There are times when I will need to ride around with it and don't want to drive without seatbelts.

Was it really necessary to go this far?

I figured it out, there is some plastic crap in there that you have to pull out to allow the belts to slide through.
