CAS install?

I'm about to reinstall my CAS, is there any special things I need to do before putting it back in?

My preferred method, line it up, put it in, try to start. If it won't kick over or stay running, take it out, turn the ear 180 deg and reinstall. Done. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

ok, but first put the cams tdc right? thats what you mean by line them up?

It can only be keyed in two ways. If the first doesn't work, rotate it 180 degrees.

Although they need to be instaled correctly, I have run them both ways myself and never noticed them wanting to stall. However, that has only been on stock motors. It is one of the first things I check when I get a new car to work on though, because 1/2 the time they are on backwards. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
