Bov(bpv) return

Hey guys, I recently aquired a 2g maf with the adapter harness, only issue I am having is with the stock bov. the return hose will not work at all for the 2g maf and it seems like the position of the bov wont work at all. I am wondering if there is a possible way to get a return hose that would work, not sure if it is even possible with the stock bov. I have heard that an atomsphereic bov will make the car run poorly. Is there an adapter plate out there for this setup? Or does anyone have an inexpensive solution to my problem? Hope someone knows what I am talking about, I can post pics if needed.

I don't think its possible with the stock piping. I had a chance to check it out again today and I just don't know.

thats why i said use the plumbing hose, its black and blue and very flexible. (sounds like a bad joke lol) but seriously, you can buy as much as you need.

What is it called exactly? I went there today and couldn't locate it. I will have to look harder or find the right employee.

its in the plumbing section, its for i think Hot Tubs. just ask for all their silicone tubing and stuff for plumbing, it should be there and its cut to whatever length so its a roll of the stuff.

So I bought some of that tubing, they had only two different sizes, 1"1/4 and 1"1/2 both of the don't work.... The 1"1/4 is too small and the 1"1/2 is too big /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I clamped the bigger tube down but there seems to be a leak somewhere, I don't get the pressure I need. Not sure if it is something else, but I cannot even boost.

Just to rule out he boosting issue try filling the open hole on the intake and see if that fixes the problem....IMO this should not affect you boosting and this test will tell you so. I used a radiator hose for a Honda civic so feel free to get creative!

Make nice with the workers at [auto parts box store] and they might let you look at tubing in back inventory when they're super slow, or they might do it if you come in with a mock up of bent tubing or whatnot.

There's likely something back there that's molded similar to what you need, and it doesn't look clown car.

I don't know what to think I am probably going to put the stock maf back on it for now. As soon as I would hit boost the pressure would release and the bov would make a very loud noise. It wouldn't let me go any further. 4100 is as high as I can get. It ran fine with the stock maf though that is why I am confused...
