A base tune for what system is a good question. Do you have; MAFT, SAFC, DSMLink, an eeprom writer, AEM EMS, Ostrich, or other...? This will help with what you are looking for.

I have 880 injectors, evo III 16g, fmic, DSM link v3, gm maft.
If you read the DSMLink pages you'll discover that there is no such thing as a base tune for a GM Maft. The reason is that each unit varies significantly from the others so without having your MAFT in hand there'd be no way of knowing what it's flow characteristics would be. Perhaps you could switch back to a Mitsu MAF (for which DSMLink does have a decent base tune) and then dial in your GM Maft from there.
One way or another you'll need to tune YOUR car which is different from every other car. Get a wide-band and read EVERYTHING on the DSMLink pages.
I have a guy that tunes for me. It's not a money thing b/c he tunes for free for me. He's just super busy right now so I just wanted a daily drivable tune.
I believe DSMLink has an autotune feature so if your o2 is hooked into the ECU you can drive around at low boost and it'll learn the tune. Then you slowly and systematically extend the driving conditions to higher and higher boost levels and let the software learn the appropriate fuel map.
Again, you should jump onto the DSMLink pages and learn about all of the features of whichever version you're running.
