Aiming headlight hell!

So the story goes like this. GVR-4 needed to be towed around the yard. Just got a beater truck. I have never driven a truck before. I didn't have anyone to help me hit the brakes on the car. The car ended up rolling into the back of my truck breaking the passenger headlight, a little bit of my carbon fiber hood, and putting a little dent in the thin metal panel area below the headlight but above the bumper.

I have tried a few headlights that I have received from members but I can't get the beam to focus nearly as nicely as the driver's side. I have swapped the bucket too. The driver's side is still fine. I don't see any other damage but I guess that I might have bent something or other and that is why even when the light is aligned it is hard to tell where the headlight is actually hitting the wall at 25 feet. (It looks kind of "doubled" if that makes sense)

The headlight also looks to be physically in an akward downward position after I adjust it horizontally and vertically. I can make it look like the other headlight cosmetically, but the beam pattern is way off then.

Reflectors are perfect on both sides. Lights have been taken apart and cleaned completely.

Again, I guess that something is bent? I don't see anything bent though. What should I do and where can I take it? I am losing plenty of time playing around with this.

Thanks

Hah, got myself a set of brand new 93 headlights and all is pretty much well after a basic adjustment...very interesting.

Where did you order a set of brand new 93's from? If you don't mind how much did they cost?

Thanks,

-Steve
