I've had this car for awhile now. I built the block once already, with some minor upgrades. The car sat for a few months with trans issues, which is what started the snowball effect, leading to where I am now. Turns out that it was a '90 trans, but thats not all. The VC was not secured, 5th gear was on backwards, and the output shaft could be pulled out by hand, with the trans still installed.
So, after deciding to change setups while the trans was out, I started with one set up and then another, and another. When I started working the midnight shift this build slowed down significantly. I just have no motivation after work.

So you already have this stuff? Sweet!

I guess I didn't understand your first post. Figured it was an idea of what you wanted. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Oh, and BTW, I forgot you had the HAWVER manifold, so you cant use the bracket that we were talking about. It wont fit, which is good, it saves me having to ship you one. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Wow that is a baller setup /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jawdrop.gif

Question though...what is the car going to be designed for? If it's anything but drag, I'd recommend ditching the D2 coilovers and get something softer. The ones I had were crazy harsh!

Quoting BoostedAWD91:
The front and rear avid motor mounts won't work in a vr4 FYI

Why is that? As long as they work in the TELs, they should work in the VR4.

Quoting 1457gvr4:
What C/R are those pistons?

9:1

The car was originally intended for drag racing. However, I found a racetrack thats 15 min. from my house, unfortunately after turbo selection.
I'm going to see how the D2s run this next year. Maybe I'll change them out for some JICs or something if I'm not satisfied.
On 2nd thought, I'm just going to use it as a daily. It should be reliable enough, right?

Looks sick. Thats one hell of a DD. Keep up the good work. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/applause.gif
