ok can i bypass this simply run no cooler by capping off the inlet and return or will this starve my engine for oil in some way thanks in advance /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I didn't have money for a oil cooler so I just used 2 90' brassfittings both with barb fitting and put a high pressure hose on it so it still circulates oil. I used a hose from a fuel injection hose it's rated at 175 it cost like 13$ for a 6" section. Also works great for the coolent line from turbo to thermostat housing

Just for thought it's not a permanet fix but will get u buy for a while mine has been on for past 800 miles and no problems

Mine is plugged. This is the only pic I can find on my computer of it. Almost 1600 miles mostly city driving. So far no issues. Eventually I'll run a small or stock cooler, but I'm in no rush.

i have mine plugged i have drove it to work and around the block as few times seams ok i just wasnt sure

You can plug it. Run 20w-50 oil however. The FFWD Forward filter housing, has no oil cooler port or accommodations at all, and I ran one since I built my motor.
