Bought non running. Motor and tranny were out of the car.

Decided to clean up the interior. It was pretty moldy and I found the carpet was totally soaked in the back. I have some before and after photos. I may have the carpet dyed in the future, but it looks good enough for now. Surprisingly there was only some surface rust on the floor pan in a few spots. I also decided to replace the shifter assembly and base plate bushings while I had the center console out. Seemed like it would be easier this way. Thank you DSSA for the detailed part numbers!

Thanks! I had to wear a mask because of that mold. Hit all the doors with a steam cleaner to kill it. Yeah the shifter boot is oddly in great shape after a nice clean up.

Yeah have to love the vr4 resto health hazard, what did you use on the carpet ?
I need the surround for the shifter so I can keep my stock shift boot on as well

I just used a bit of dawn dish soap and warm water. There were all types of oil based liquids spilled on the rear section. Then I used a very soft brush attachment for my drill to agitate with the soap. But pretty much pressure washed it five times. Good luck trying to find that. I can keep my eyes open for you if you want.

No kids sports this weekend so I got a chance to get back in the garage. Sourced some 05 outlander brakes a few months ago. Sanded them down then hit it with some prime and paint. While I had them stripped down I went ahead and did a full rebuild. I forgot I bought some Koni yellow rears and inserted stock struts with H&R all around a while back. I went ahead and did some test fitting today with all of this. I am going to have to get some bellows and strip them down to replace. Also finally sourced an almost mint tank 0 rust with sending unit. My wallet hurt after that.
