Correct. Still rocking mine from '05



1908- sold and missed.
1280- 2.3, FP 35R, E85, etc.
1135- 100% stock - 88k miles
'93 Mirage hatch- 4g63, AWD, etc (hoarding for build)

I made my own I bought a leather shift boot on eBay. Cut it the length that I needed, I took the stock rubber shift boot and cut to the top of the boot and only kept the base then,I glued leather boot to the base and use clamps to make a nice tight seen on the boot. There is a pic on page 5 of Pictures Post.

Are the OEM rubber boots totally inaccessible at this point in the Galants life? (Used or otherwise) Has the material not stood up to time, or are there good ones out there that folks just did not like and replaced?

Just curious, as I like my OEM, but it is showing wear that worries me...

I'm sure there are good ones available. I probably have one myself. Some just prefer the more modernized look of the leather/vinyl versions.

My stock one is in good shape, but don't like the cheap look of the convulated rubber, so put a leather unit in...little on the tight side, but looks and works good overall
