I might be making some life changes and I want to put out a feeler for my car.
2nd owner since 1998, 15x5k miles
New timing belt, water pump
Head was rebuilt with new valve steam seals
Walbro 255 fuel pump
New 750cc FIC injectors
Tune is controlled by a keydiver chip, runs very stockish.
Overall I feel like the engine and transmission are running the best it ever has. Pulls very good and smoothly. Alignment is perfect, and aside from the extra power, it drives like stock. It is set up for a street car, not a race car.
Centerforce clutch that has never been raced or launched hard
Transmission was rebuilt by Sheptrans (has about 40K miles on it) solid transmission bushings, new plate rubber bushings. New shifter cables
Has Alpine CD deck, Greedy boost controller, Dayton Audio 10" sub in the trunk, Infinity speakers.
Tinted Windows, Mofugas leather shift boot, 3000GT door red light covers.
Have original numbered plate and key fob, owners manual.
I have a spare set of 91 wagon wheels with winter tires, factory manuals, bin of spare parts.
I did a minor under the hood refresh. New valve cover gaskets, sensors, coolant lines, etc. Currently doesn't leak a single drop of oil.
brakes are frozen, needs new brakes (still have the originals to rebuild)
Mofugas 2.5 exhaust sounds like it has a leak
drivers side e-brake cable is broken (have Mitsubishi part to install)
Power steering switch is not kicking on (steering gets hard in a parking lot)
This car is at a point where it needs classic insurance and I may be moving, so I'm not sure if I will be taking it to the next level.
What I would do if I keep it.
Classic car insurance to protect it.
Fix brakes, exhaust.
BC racing coilovers, wheels and tires.
Other than those things, this car is in great condition. Original AC worked last time I tried it.
I have a minimum price in mind, but I'd want to start at $6800 obo.
Sale would be pending on where I might be going. Don't really want to sell it, but life goes on.
I can upload more pictures, but here is one just taken after a quick detail. Interior hasn't been detailed yet (leather seats are in good shape)
